(Santa Ana, CA) – To prepare for the next phase of vaccination distribution, the OC Health Care Agency (HCA) continues to monitor activity by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA), the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s (CDC) Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices (ACIP) and the California Department of Public Health (CDPH) regarding COVID-19 vaccine eligibility for children ages 5-11.Earlier this week, an advisory panel at the FDA convened a meeting to discuss information and data that may support the administration of the Comirnaty (Pfizer) COVID-19 vaccine for children ages 5-11. Te cuento mi viaje de 15 días por el Sudeste Asiático, visitando Singapur, el sur de Vietnam y Camboya. Fue una ruta variada donde incluimos importantes ciudades, lugares históricos y sitios naturales. Es una de esas regiones keo banh del mundo que, una vez que las pruebas, no puedes dejar de visitar. Tras recorrer el año anterior Tailandia y Malasia, queríamos continuar descubriendo otros países de la zona. Este viaje lo hicimos en noviembre de 2019, un mes perfecto porque en Europa ya empieza a llegar el invierno pero en el sudeste asiático hace buen clima.Fue un viaje mochilero que comenzamos en Singapur y terminamos en Bangkok. Volamos con British Airways desde Londres y nos permitía coger la vuelta desde otra ciudad por el mismo precio, usando la opción multidestino o muti-city. Así que fue la excusa perfecta para pasar un último día en Bangkok en vez de tener que volver a Singapur.La idea era visitar Singapur, el sur de Vietnam (Ho Chi Minh y el delta del Mekong) y digamos que lo principal de Camboya (Nom Pen y Angkor Wat, con una parada intermedia en Kampot). En definitiva, un viaje de contrastes combinando sitios muy diferentes entre sí.En cuanto a la organización del viaje, antes de ir reservamos los vuelos y alojamientos y sabíamos donde íbamos a estar pero dejamos cierta flexibilidad a decidir, una vez allí, qué hacer exactamente cada día. Por ejemplo, bastantes autobuses y barcos los reservamos estando allí, al contrario que otros viajes donde solemos llevar todo atado con antelación.Lo que también llevamos reservado, y es algo que no falta en nuestros viajes, es el seguro de viaje de IATI. No tuvimos que usarlo pero es un imprescindible para viajar tranquilo.Abajo del todo dejo un mapa con la localización de todos los sitios que menciono en el artículo.Este primer día fue una primera toma de contacto con Singapur. Llegamos a media tarde, así que aprovechamos para ver algunos sitios interesantes para ver de noche como son los espectáculos en la zona de Gardens by the Bay.Comenzamos el viaje con un vuelo directo (12 horas) Londres Heathrow – Singapur con British Airways.
